I woke up today feeling so tired and down. I thought it was going to be a miserable day. I was planning to hang out with my aunt but she wasn’t able to. I didn’t get very much done in terms of re-familiarizing myself with the piano.
But turns out, it was a fantastic day. I got to see CYMO rehearse the Beethoven Triple Concerto with LA Phil members, talk to alumni, and have dinner with the Fox family. A few interesting possibilities opened up today, and I will continue to pursue them tomorrow.
Even though it’s tough to start a new year, I’m praying to God every day to give me one thing to delight in, even if it’s really small.
Still, in the night, my chest gets tight and I feel anxious about tomorrow.
