Skincare review. YAY Products!

I finally used my sample of Jurlique Herbal Recovery Gel last night and this morning. I think I’ve found a cheaper but just as effective replacement for my Estee Lauder ANR (which I can’t afford if I don’t buy it duty free).

I used the sample, and now I can’t stop touching my skin. It’s tight, my pores have shrunk, and all the redness is gone. I had a pesky pimple near my mouth, and it’s basically disappeared overnight.

Wow!

Only thing I don’t like is there is alcohol in the ingredients. I’m getting a set from Sephora which includes a full size cream, so it’s a good way to try the product. If it doesn’t work, I will go back to Estee Lauder ANR (it’s sort of losing its effectiveness, I think) or try Caudalie Vinoperfect Serum (yikes. So expensive!).

Jurlique does smell really strong! That’s the only problem, but it isn’t a bad smell. I’m hoping this will fade my remaining acne scars and just keep my skin looking healthier. Just overnight, my skin is tighter and more plump. Very nice. I don’t know if it’s a lasting result. Perhaps the alcohol is what’s giving it the tight feeling, but my skin feels pretty moisturized so I doubt the alcohol is doing very much.

Really. I can’t stop touching my skin. Gross. I’m trying not to because, hello, bacteria.

I don’t actually need anti-aging products, so I don’t think I need to rely on Estee Lauder ANR just yet. Jurlique seems like a good option, and if I ever need a discount, I have a membership with Beauty Diary in Arcadia that gives me 10% off every purchase!
